23 Social held by the Ladies Altar Society, in the new Knights of Pythias’s hall. Very good attendance: All enjoyed the programme [sic] which consisted first in the Euchre cart party, after, offering two nice songs rendered by Mr. E.A. Cunningham, and finally of in the delightful lunch to which all those present, under the greatest honor. The musical programme [sic] was rendered on violin by Mr. Biner, on the piano and french [sic] horn. The evening was splendid, and so many availed themselves of the opportunity to see the new hall spacious and beautifully decorated. The financial result was a good one, amounting to.
28 Father Meyer goes to Diamond City, and Father Holt to Warner.
31 Father Bidault goes to Coutts to preside at the funeral of the first man buried in the catholic cemetery of the said Mission. The railroad is in a very bad condition. All the trains are late, and several lines entirely blocked up, owing to the great amount of snow spread over the track.
Feb. 5 Father Meyer is in Grassy Lake, but Father Hold stays here, no train going to Milk River where he had
determined to hold the divine service
This evening at three o.clock, benediction of the children. The church is filled with little ones and it is an imposing spectacle to see a good number of mothers, like formerly the B.V. presenting their offerings to the Lord, that he might bless them.
11 Father Meyer goes to Taber, and Father Hold takes the direction of the mission of Carston [sic] mission which

up to now, was attended to by Father Ruaux of Blood Reserve.
Father Grandin Provincial arrives by the afternoon train just to pay us a two days visit. He will return monday [sic] by the afternoon train.
13 A telegramme [sic] calls Father Meyer to Coutts in order to administer the last sacraments to a dying woman. He will take the first train to morrow morning and will come back only the following day.
15 Fathers Rosenthal and Hold leave by the 6 a.m. flyer to go to Macleod, where they will attend the ecclesiastical conference for the priests of the Southern Alberta. They come back at 8 p.m. accompanied by Rev. Father Meisner parish priest of Michill and Fernie B.C.
17 After having spent with the Fathers of Lethbridge one day and a half of the most living interest, Father Meisner goes back to B.C. satisfied of the gracious hospitality that he has found here and cordially inviting us to go and enjoy during the summer time the instant beauties of his country.
18 Father Meyer goes to Diamond city and Father Hold to Burdett.
19 This morning at high Mass, Father Rosenthal reads from the pulpit a letter of his Lorship [sic] Bishop Legal, whereby he appoints MM. T.D. Kevin and L.W. Johnstone as members of the parochial corporation of Lethbridge.
23 Reverend Father Rosenthal leaves this morning by the 6 o.clock flyer. He goes to Edmonton and St. Albert where he has to see the Bishop with regards to a trip that he is going to take East A thousand thanks to the generosity of Father Lacombe
