June 26th 1909 [underlined] On the 11th of June Rev. Father Lestanc [underlined] was appointed Superior of St. Patricks Mission with R.P. Rosenthal [underlined], for nearly four years assistant at St. Joachim’s church, Edmonton, and R.P. Meyer [underlined], [?] his arrival in Canada station last November stationed in Calgary, as assistants R.P. Rosenthal arrived here on the 12th inst, R.P. Meyer on the 15th inst. His garden producing various kinds of fruits and the beautiful trees surrounding the church have convinced the doubting Thomasses that

June 26 [front/left margin] Lethbridge can raise small and large fruits and become set in a forest instead of on the bald prairie. The Herald trusts that Father VanTighem will find the surrounding in his new field of labor pleasant and agreeable. He can always rest assured that in the hearts of the people of Lethbridge there abides a sincere feeling of regard.”
The new Superior R. Father Lestanc OMI, arrived here from Calgary on the 23rd inst.
