21   Fath Meyer goes to Taber to attend to a lawn social held there on behalf of the new Church. It was quite a success.
23   At last our prayers have been heard. Yesterday and to day we got a heavy shower which lasted about 10 or 12 hours. It does lots of good.
24   Fath. Rosenthal comes back to Lethbridge fully satisfied with his trip.
25   Rev. Fath Meyer goes to Bow Island to hold the service to morrow, and Fath Bidault is sent down to Milk River on the same purpose.
26   Feast of the St. John the Baptist’s Society Fath Sylla delivers a very impressive sermon in polish [sic], saying to the slavish people in their own language what they have to do in order to remain always good and practical Catholics.
In the afternoon Fath Rosenthal reorganised [sic] the society of the Children of Mary, at the Convent, which society erected on the 16th of July, 1891, under the title of Congregatio Filiarum Marie sub titulo et invocatione B. Fath. Rosenthal thanked the children for their sentiments and kind words of gratitude, wished to them good and happy holidays, and let them hope that next year the closing of the school will take place in a new local more spacious and appropriate, that the parents will be visited and some prizes distributed.
July   2 A [sic] 3 o’clock P.M. the fathers went to the station to meet there his Lorship [sic] Bishop Legal coming to Lethbridge for pastoral visit and Confirmation. After having shaken hands with him Fath. Sylla took the train that his Lorship [sic] just left, and went to Taber. Fath. Meyer has already gone to the country and is now in Coutts.
3   A [sic] 8 o’clock his Lorship [sic] said Mass in the church and was well pleased to distribute the holy communion to the children and to many people. Many took an occasion of this visit of the Bishop and of the first Sunday of the month to approach the sacrements [sic] and his Lorship [sic] could see and was happy to state the great work done by Fath.
