26   Fath. Meyer goes to Warner and New Dayton.
27   In the morning general communion of the members of the C.T.U. in order to celebrate piously the anniversary of their organisation [sic]. At the evening service the said members occupy the first pews in front of the Church. Father Rosenthal gives the sermon of circumstance, of course on the subject of temperance, after which all the members renew their pledge with burning candles in their hands.
28   at 8 o,clock this evening meeting of the Building Committee at the priest house. Hopkins of Edmonton is present, and after a re-examination of the plans, he is invited to go ahead and to work the specifications, that he will sent [sic] in the month of January.
Dec.   2 Rev. Father Sylla comes back from Canmore and will stay here for two weeks.
3   Reverend Father Sylla goes to Taber and Father Meyer to Diamond Cit [crossed out] Coutts
4   Regular meeting in the convent school room of the C.T.U. Election of the officers.

7   Reverend Father Rosenthal makes the visit of the Slaves [sic] – He is accompanied by Fath Sylla – They go first to No 3 and from there to Northward.
8   Feast of the Immaculate Conception – Lovely weather though a little cold. The high mass was sang by the Children of the school who are now able to execute well enough the plain-chant mass of the sixth tone of Dumont.
10   Father Meyer goes to Grassy Lake and Father Bidault to Milk River. Father Sylla stays in Lethbridge to morrow that he might hear the confessions of the slavish people.
11   Sunday. At the evening service, reception of the Children of Mary, in the Church. Father Rosenthal chaplain of the Society preaches the circumstantial sermon and receives in the society thirty four young ladies. Very impressive ceremony.
12   Father Blanchet comes from Macleod to pay us a nice and very agreeable visit. He goes back on the following day.
14   Meeting at the priest house of the men who volunteered to take up the suscriptions [sic] for the new Church. They are eleven, all members of the K of C. To every one of them was given a list of about ten or fifteen names.
15    Father Sylla goes back to the mountains. This is his last regular visit to Lethbridge, as a new has to take his place in a near future to help Father Meyer.
