16 Fath. Meyer goes to Milk River, to hold the service to morrow sunday [sic]. Will come back on Monday.
17 At the convent meeting of the C.T.U. In the evening, after the service, meeting at the priest house of the Knights of Colombus [sic].
18 Very interesting cards-party at Caledonian-Hall, pretty well attended. The result was $76 clear.
19 Fath. Rosenthal is going to Calgary with Mr. Kevin, to the effect of meeting there the bishop and discussing with him several projects with regard to the starting of the new Church, the buying of Johnson’s house and the sale of the property. Fath Meyer goes to Macleod.
21 Fath Rosenthal comes back from Calgary. His visit lead not the expected effect, though it has been allowed by the bishop to buy the Johnson’s house.
Father Meyer, after having attended the conference in Macleod, goes to Pincher Creek, whence he will return on Monday.
22 Father Leduc is expected to close the deal with Mr. Johnson, but he does not come..

22 Fath. Bidault is going to Medicine Hat for the last time. Will stop in Colleridge where he will hold the service to morrow at Mr. Lecieux hotel. Will come back on Monday.
24 After the evening service, meeting of the K of C. at the priest house.
25 Fath. Rosenthal goes to the country, twenty miles from Lethbridge, for sick call.
On the afternoon, visits of Fath. Ruaux who comes to see the doctor. Fath. Meyer arrives with him from Pincher Creek.
26 Fath. Meyer leaves in the morning for Magrath. Fath Ruaux goes back by the afternoon train.
27 [entry accompanied by vertical blue line in margin] At last Fath. Leduc arrives, from Prince Albert. He buys the Johnson’s house for a new presbytery, situated on Bloc 36, on Cuttbil[?] street. The three lots and the house are bought together for 13.000 dollars.
28 Fath. Leduc is going down by the afternoon train, to Medicine Hat.
29 Fath Sylla comes back from Canmore.
30 Father Meyer is going to Coutts, and from there to New Dayton. He will be out the whole following week.

May 1 At four o’clock, meeting at the Convent of the C.T.U. Not many members attend. Mr. Hart gives a nice conference on alcoolism[sic].
