Young Leonard played on the Violin and did very well.
St Patricks banner was exposed and decorated.
Prayers were again asked from the Congregation for a certain sick man at the hospital here.   He was brought here from Great Falls, and is in great danger, but he has refused the assistance of the Church.   He says: it is of no use to play the hypocrite now, after having left everything for 22 years. Nothing could move him, but asked to be left alone. For three times I have visited him…. all in Vain…
   After to morrow takes place the Consacration [sic] of the new Archbishop of St Boniface, R.Father Langevin. Several bishops from the East have arrived at Winnipeg and are now celebrating St Patrick, day in good shape..

We also have had our St. Patrick, day … It was the feast           18th mar [written in back/right margin]
of our Church and we had fine music. – master Leonard played the violin both morning and night; which was something new for Lethbridge.
It was announced last Sunday that we would have the          April 12 [written in back/right margin]
Services of the Holy Week, the church being large enough now. A fine reposoir has been prepared in one of the lateral chapels and now the people is in adoration before the altar of our Lord… the Watches will be kept all the night, and two men at the time will remain there for one hour… During the day the Mothers have the schoolchildren continually with Jesus.
The Church was well filled, every Wednesday and Friday evening, during lent – at the Stations of the Cross.
The weather is fine, but we have our old heavy winds, continually blowing. 14th [written in back/right margin]
Easter has come and gone . Beautiful Services took place in the church during the Holy Week and Easter Sunday was the Crowning of all.

April 15th [written in front/left margin] A large Congregation assembled in church, both morning and evening. The singing was grand, and the music of the organ, Flute and Violin combined was something new and very pleasing. It was Mr. Tennant custom officer at Coutts who played the flute.
May 1st [written in front/left margin] The Reverend Father Lacombe, after an abscence [sic] of about three years, paid a flying visit to Lethbridge. Arriving yesterday with a four-horse-Team. he departed this morning. This visit, short as it was pleased, very much, the father and the Sisters of Lethbridge.   Were [sic] would Father Lacombe not be welcomed ??? We began our May Devotions yesterday.       Hymns Rosary, and Benediction, very afternoon at 4 O’Clock.
13.th [written in front/left margin] Father VanTighem takes the South Train this morning and goeth [sic] as far as Pandora “better Pend’oreille” Montana. for the purpose of visiting a catholic family and make them fulfil their easter duties. Of course the father had no jurisdiction there, but these good people wrote to Bishop Brondel of Helena and asked jurisdiction for the father which was easily and promptly obtained, His Lordship being a friend of the father
28th [written in front/left margin] Last night, a snowstorm set in and all this day the blisard [sic] continues . as we had no rain this Spring this storm will benefit the grass.
June 20 [written in front/left margin] The weather has been cold up to this day and we have had good rains – the grass is green now.
